For what purpose and how must we not use animals?
Animals are spared no harm when humans consider themselves being in the stronger’s right. In contrast, I dream of a world without battlefields and slaughterhouses. A world of pure organic agriculture in which we use, yes, the gifts of animals, like their milk and eggs and dung, but not their meat.
I deem acceptable the farming of species that have been following mankind for a long time yet. In this manner do I try to keep and respect my hens. I take her eggs and give them food and shelter and care.
